What the demo leaves out.

The Next Fest build caps proficiencies at level 5, shows a subset of the adventure content and holds one World Project. Early Access lifts all three and adds two districts. This page is the studio’s own list, not a wishlist.

Two new districts

Where Early Access expands

Both are described on the official demo page as coming with Early Access.

Hanging Gardens district in Loftia
Nature district

Hanging Gardens

A floating island at the edge of Loftia City, given over to greenery. Community farms, fishing spots and a dark forest sit inside the same district, so a single walk covers planting, fishing and the one clearly ominous biome on the map.

Quote: “This Loftia district is filled with lush greenery, cozy fishing spots, community farms, and a mysterious dark forest waiting to be explored!” — loftia.gg/demo.

Gridfall district in Loftia
Salvaging district

Gridfall

The salvaging half of the city, built out of what the old world left behind. Air rails replace walking, skyscrapers are climbable, and a museum plus underground tunnels hold the story material. It is also where the Urbex tool gets used.

Quote: “Ride air rails, scale towering skyscrapers, uncover stories of the past at the museum, dance along with the locals, and explore secret underground tunnels with friends!” — loftia.gg/demo.

Six systems, upgraded

What changes from the demo

Each card quotes the specific change the studio describes for Early Access.

Pets

Pets

Adoptable animals that travel with you, can be dressed, petted and levelled as friendships.

Quote: “You can take care of them, pet them, dress them up, and grow your friendship with them.”

Proficiencies and perks

Proficiencies and perks

Farming, crafting, cooking and fishing each carry a proficiency track. Points go into perks, and the demo’s level 5 ceiling is lifted.

Quote: “Level up your proficiencies, and choose which Perks to invest your points in to become the best at what you do!”

Hydroponics and super crops

Hydroponics and super crops

Hydroponics stations need nutrients kept topped up; a well-fed station can produce a Super Crop.

Quote: “Keep your Hydroponics Stations topped up with nutrients for a chance to grow some Loftian “Super Crops”.”

Adventure gauntlets

Adventure gauntlets

Named challenge runs meant to be taken on in a group. The demo held a subset; Early Access adds more.

Quote: “During Early Access, there’ll be plenty of new challenges (which we call “adventure gauntlets”) to explore and tackle, together with friends.”

World Projects

World Projects

Server-wide builds the whole community contributes to. The demo ran Pebble’s Birthday Party; Early Access scales up to rebuilding the city dome and new renewable energy sites.

Quote: “In Early Access, there will be many more World Projects that the community can tackle together, including larger-scale projects like rebuilding the Loftia City Dome, constructing more renewable energy sources, and more.”

Urbex

Urbex

Urban exploration: drop underground with a dedicated tool, pull out rare resources, and find the parts of Gridfall that are not on the street level.

Quote: “During Early Access, you’ll be able to hop down and, with the help of a special tool, collect rare resources and discover hidden nooks and crannies within the Gridfall district.”

Progression

The level 5 ceiling comes off

Farming, crafting, cooking and fishing each run a proficiency track. Every level grants points, and points go into perks. The demo stops at 5; Early Access keeps going and lets you commit to a specialisation.

Quote: “In Early Access, you can take your proficiencies much further than the demo’s Level 5 cap.” — loftia.gg/demo.
